Writing at the Wallach returns with a series of informal writing workshops led by CA/T instructors from Columbia’s School of the Arts. In addition to responding to works of art on view at the Wallach, this series encourages participants to bring their own experiences inside and outside of the gallery space to each session. Through group discussions and generative writing prompts, participants will develop their own creative voices shaped by social and historical context. 

All materials will be provided, including a portfolio for participants to keep as they deepen their engagement with writing. 

While not required, registration is encouraged to help us prepare materials.
