Join us on Instagram on Thursday, April 1 for a talk with curator and 2021 MODA Curates fellow Erin Gallagher about the exhibition, Narrative Thread: Gina Adams and Marie Watt. 

Erin Gallagher is an educator, curator, and artist with particular interests in critical pedagogy, community arts education, and social justice. She currently works as an educator and programmer in teen, school, and family programs at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art. Erin is in her final year in MODA, Columbia University’s MA in Modern and Contemporary Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies program with  a focus on American Art; Diasporic, Queer, Feminist, Indigenous and holds a BA in Art History & English from Vassar College.

MODA Curates is an annual opportunity offered by The Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Art Gallery and the MA in Modern and Contemporary Art: Critical and Curatorial Studies Program for outstanding curatorial proposals related to students’ theses.
